1) Students enrolled in Biology 102 must have their own copy of the UMUC published "Laboratory Exercises for Biology 102" for the course. Please purchase one through our MyUMUC website or contact the field reps.
2) As per the syllabus, students are required to complete Pre-Lab questions for the assigned exercises. These Pre-Lab questions are not in the lab book, and will be available here as downloads (see below).
3) After students have completed the assigned exercises, they need to complete a set of Post-Lab questions and hand these in with the completed lab exercise pages. Post-Lab question sets will also be available from this page. Formal lab reports are not required.
4) Student lab notebooks will not be graded, but it is expected that students will keep and maintain a notebook to record information. From time to time I will check lab notebooks to ensure students are doing their own work.
