Chemistry 103 - General Chemistry

Chem 103 Text

CHEM 103 is designed to be the first chemistry course taken by students who are pursuing studies in one of the natural sciences. This course combines both lecture and lab for a 4 credit hour course. The aim of this course is not only to help you learn chemistry but also to help you discover the excitement and the language of this field. 

This course has a prerequisite: MATH 107 or MATH 115. 

The textbook for the course is "General Chemistry", (9th Edition, 2009) by Ebbing, D. & Gammon, S. Houghton Mifflin, Co. This is a very thorough textbook, and is used for the follow up course, CHEM 113.
