The workshop was conducted in two tracks; Writing and Multimedia. Both were well planned and coordinated. I felt all CTL members worked well together under Dr. Susan Ko's leadership; the result of their efforts were of definite benefit to the participants.

The writing sessions reminded me of the importance of teaching and designing classes with goals and objectives in mind. The speakers for each activity stressed the reason for the activity and the hoped for outcomes. I thought it beneficial, seeing teaching as a whole; the impact of each assignment on students and the difference with organized and objective focused teaching. Also working with other participants was extremely helpful. All presented constructive ideas and thoughts for each activity. The different views and outlooks presented was a big learning experience for me.

I thought the multimedia session was well planned. The staff members were easy going, friendly and helpful. Three examples of software were selected; impatica, audacity and Media Encoder. These are wonderful selections as support teaching tools. I am somewhat familiar with Impatica and Audacity; still it was valuable for me to see other participants' problems and opinions regarding their use in their respective classrooms. The free Media Encoder is excellent software. I was appreciative of the opportunity to work with it.

Along with the above, the CTL staff's professionalism was apparent. Learning took place inside and outside of the workshop sessions. All of were focused on teaching and eager to improve their teaching skills. Meeting faculty members from around the world (even from Israel!) and listening/talking to their teaching strategies and thoughts was one of the high points of the workshop.
